Casting Call: Participants for Medical Awareness Public Service Announcement (PSA)
Job Description: We are seeking individuals for a Los Angeles-based Medical Awareness Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign. The focus of this PSA is to increase public understanding and awareness of opioid addiction. Participants will be sharing their personal stories of struggle and recovery to help educate the community and provide hope to others facing similar challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in video or photo shoots for the PSA campaign.
- Share your personal journey dealing with opioid addiction, including the challenges faced and the path to recovery.
- Work cooperatively with the production team to capture authentic and impactful narratives.
- Be prepared to answer interview questions on camera and potentially engage in multiple takes for the best outcome.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Individuals of any gender and ethnicity are encouraged to apply.
- Must have personally struggled with opioid addiction in the past.
- Willingness to openly share your story with the public.
- Must be able to provide a signed release form allowing your image and story to be used for the PSA.
- Available to attend filming in Los Angeles (please note if you need to travel, arrangements must be discussed with the production team beforehand).
Compensation: Participants will receive a flat rate of $2,500 for their contribution to the PSA campaign. This compensation is intended to cover the time spent in filming and any incidental expenses related to participation.
