We are seeking a male actor in his late 20s for the lead role of Mike in an upcoming feature film to be shot in the Greater New Orleans area. The production will require the actor to work as a local hire; no travel or accommodation expenses will be compensated. The filming schedule is tightly packed, requiring full commitment on the specified shoot dates.
Responsibilities:
- Portray the character of Mike, a character with a strong and confident demeanor and a certain rugged charm.
- Engage in scenes requiring moderate physicality and action sequences, including stunts and fight choreography.
- Participate in scenes involving simulated intimacy and the use of simulated tobacco products.
- Work collaboratively with the director, crew, and other cast members to bring the character to life.
Requirements:
- Male, late 20s, with dark features, athletic or average build, and scruff. A lower voice is preferable but not essential.
- Must have experience or training in athletics, stunts, martial arts, or fight choreography.
- Comfortable with simulated intimacy and the use of simulated tobacco products on screen.
- Ability to take direction well and adapt to the dynamic environment of a film set.
- Must be available for all shoot dates and willing to work as a local hire in New Orleans.
- Previous acting experience in film or television is highly preferred.
Compensation:
The selected actor will be compensated $3500 for 7 days of shooting. This is a non-negotiable flat rate and does not cover travel or accommodation.
