Job Description:
We are seeking an expert Origami artist of East Asian descent for an upcoming project in Los Angeles. This project requires someone with advanced origami skills, ideally with experience in traditional Japanese paper folding techniques. The ideal candidate will be passionate about origami and able to demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship and artistry. Travel expenses will be covered for those outside of Los Angeles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in multiple shooting sessions, showcasing advanced origami techniques.
- Fold intricate and complex origami designs on camera, ensuring high levels of accuracy and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with directors and production teams to create stunning origami pieces for the final project.
Requirements:
- Must be a professional or highly skilled origami artist, preferably of Japanese descent with strong ties to the art of origami.
- Must be of East Asian heritage (Man/Woman, aged 20-40).
- Proven experience with expert-level origami folding (please provide samples or evidence of work).
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and take direction from production teams.
Compensation:
- $500 per session.
- $3,500 buyout if selected for the final edit.
