Job Details: Slate Casting is seeking a dynamic and spirited Black family for an upcoming project in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. We are looking to cast a genuine family unit that includes grandparents, parents, and children. This casting call is open to multi-generational Black families residing in the DMV area. The selected family will be participating in a one-day photoshoot.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a one-day photoshoot on April 12th.
- Work closely with the director and photographer to fulfill the project’s vision.
- Bring authentic family dynamics and interactions to the shoot.
- Follow directions from the creative team for various scenes and settings.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set.
Requirements:
- Must be an actual family comprising grandparents, parents, and children.
- Must identify as Black or of African descent.
- Must be based in the DMV area and available to shoot on the specified date.
- No acting experience necessary, but must be comfortable in front of the camera.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the photoshoot location.
- All ages are welcome, but minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Compensation Details:
- Pays up to $6500 per family for the one-day shoot.
- Compensation is inclusive of all participants in the shoot and covers the entire day’s commitment.
- Payment will be issued upon completion of the photoshoot.
