Professional Table Tennis Players for Upcoming Film Starring Timothée Chalamet
Job Description: We are casting professional table tennis players for an exciting new film set in the early 1950s, starring Timothée Chalamet. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your table tennis skills on a major film project. Experience with HARD BAT table tennis is a plus but not necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as a professional table tennis player in scenes set in the early 1950s.
- Follow the direction of the film’s director and production team to ensure authentic and accurate portrayals.
- Participate in rehearsals and fittings as scheduled.
- Maintain professionalism on set and adhere to the production schedule.
Requirements:
- Must be a professional level table tennis player.
- Experience with HARD BAT table tennis is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work locally in NYC.
- Must submit two current, accurate photos (no headshots; cell phone photos are acceptable).
- Provide contact information, location, and union status (Union or Non-Union).
- Confirm availability for early fall shooting schedule and fittings in the coming weeks.
Compensation:
- Compensation details will be provided upon selection and will comply with industry standards.

This is a short documentary airing on a major news network in Summer 2021. We are filming in mid-March. Travel and expenses will be provided if necessary. This is a non-union production. Covid protocols will be strictly adhered. Tests will be provided for all talent and crew.
