Casting Call: Fellowship Program Promotional Video
Job Description: We are seeking a diverse group of dynamic individuals to participate in a promotional video for the Fields of the Future Fellowships for the academic year 2024-25. The fellowship aims to promote diversity and inclusion in the advanced study of the material world, and this video aims to reflect that mission by showcasing a range of scholars and artists who embody interdisciplinary humanities scholarship from different perspectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in video shoots, which may include interviews, acting, or performing specific actions related to scholarly or artistic work.
- Work collaboratively with the director, crew, and other cast members.
- Prepare for shoots by understanding the fellowship’s aims and being able to speak to the importance of diversity and interdisciplinary work in the humanities.
- Be available for potential travel to shoot locations or studios.
Requirements:
- A background in the humanities, arts, or related interdisciplinary fields is preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable on camera and able to speak clearly about complex topics.
- A genuine interest in promoting diversity, inclusion, and interdisciplinary studies.
- Ability to take direction well and adapt to different filming environments.
- All ages, genders, and ethnicities are encouraged to apply to represent the diversity of the fellowship program.
Compensation:
- This is a paid opportunity. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the role and experience.
- Travel expenses for shooting will be covered if applicable.
