We are excited to announce a casting call for the upcoming feature film “Jiminy,” to be shot in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We are seeking individuals to join our background cast portraying paramedics or EMTs.
Job Details:
- Role: Background Paramedics/EMTs
- Shoot Location: Various locations around Santa Fe, NM
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray paramedics or EMTs accurately and convincingly in various scenes within the film.
- Take direction from the director and assistant directors to fulfill the vision of the scenes.
- Be prepared to perform repetitive actions as multiple takes may be required.
- Remain in costume and maintain character throughout the shooting day.
Requirements:
- No acting experience is required, but prior experience as a paramedic or in emergency response is preferred to ensure authenticity in the role.
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States.
- Available for the entirety of the shoot and fitting schedules.
- Reliable transportation to and from the set in Santa Fe.
- Comfortable with long shoot days and potential weather changes.
- Ability to follow strict on-set protocols, including health and safety guidelines.
Compensation Details:
- Standard Pay Rate: $117.00 for 8 hours. Overtime at time and a half applies after 8 hours.
- Extended Day Expectation: Typical workdays are approximately 12 hours.
- Costume Fitting Pay: $62.50 for a fitting session.
- EMT/Paramedic Specific Rate: $250.00 for 8 hours.
