Job Details: “GOODBYE CLEVELAND” is on the lookout for a talented and experienced accordion player to join a Mariachi Band for a pivotal scene in our film. This role is critical to the authenticity and energy of the scene, and we are seeking an individual who can bring both skill and passion to the performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as part of a Mariachi Band within a specific scene, ensuring a high level of musicality and engagement.
- Collaborate with the music director and other band members to rehearse and perfect the required pieces.
- Participate in any necessary dress rehearsals and sound checks as scheduled by the production team.
- Be available for the entire shooting day on March 13th, 2024, and for any prior rehearsals as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an accordion player, preferably with experience or familiarity with Mariachi music.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to the dynamic demands of a film set.
- Must have own accordion that is suitable for performance and in good working condition.
- Professional demeanor and reliability are paramount.
- Available for the shoot date and any necessary rehearsal dates leading up to the shoot.
- Local to the Chalmette area or willing to travel (note on compensation for travel if applicable).
Compensation:
- Competitive pay rate, commensurate with experience.
