Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking young actors to portray the roles of “Kids at Bonfire” in the upcoming feature film, “History of Sound.” This casting call is open to minors who can authentically represent children enjoying a bonfire scene set in a specific historical period. Successful candidates will be part of a film that explores significant themes and eras, contributing to a project of artistic and educational value.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the filming of bonfire scenes, following the direction of the film’s director and crew.
  • Be available for costume fittings and adhere to wardrobe requirements to accurately represent the historical period.
  • Be willing to undergo a period-appropriate haircut if necessary to align with the film’s time setting (with guardian’s consent).
  • Collaborate with other cast members and crew to create a believable and engaging scene.
  • Maintain professionalism on set and adhere to all production guidelines and schedules.

Requirements:

  • Minors of any gender and ethnicity.
  • Must have a guardian or parent who can accompany them to the set and all related activities.
  • Should be a member of SAG-AFTRA or indicate if not a member.
  • Must provide height, weight, current clothing, and shoe size for costume purposes.
  • Guardians must confirm the child’s age, date of birth, and provide details about the work permit, including its expiration date if applicable.
  • Must be local to the New Jersey/New York area or able to travel to the location for filming and related activities.
  • Comfortable with the possibility of receiving a period-appropriate haircut (with the consent of the guardian).

Compensation:

  • Competitive rates in accordance with SAG-AFTRA guidelines for minors.
  • Specific details regarding compensation and any additional benefits will be provided upon selection and during the contract discussion phase.
