The role will require the actor to portray both bravery and vulnerability as the character faces horror and danger.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray Gretel, a 13-15-year-old who is protective of her twin brother, Hansel.
- Collaborate with the director and other actors to authentically capture Gretel’s bravery and strength throughout the film’s scenes.
- Participate in approximately 12 shoot days.
- Convey a range of emotions, from leadership and fearlessness to fear and desperation, in intense horror scenes.
- Follow directions to ensure the character’s role is consistent with the overall tone and storyline of the film.
Requirements:
- Female actor aged 13-15 or can convincingly portray that age range.
- Must have strong acting abilities, particularly in portraying emotional and intense scenes.
- No prior professional experience required, but the ability to take direction well is essential.
- Must be available to shoot for approximately 12 days during the production schedule in El Reno, Oklahoma.
- Local hire only; no travel or accommodations provided.
Compensation:
- Pay rate: Compensation is modest, but actors will receive a link to the film upon release for their reels.
- Meals and snacks will be provided on set.
