Casting for Parent and Child Teams for IIHS Video Project
Job Description: We are seeking parent and child teams to participate in a series of videos for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This project focuses on demonstrating the proper installation of child restraints and the correct way to buckle up children. The videos will be used to educate and inform parents about child passenger safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a half-day filming session demonstrating the correct installation and use of child car seats and seat belts.
- Follow the direction of the production team to ensure accurate and informative footage.
- Engage naturally on camera, showcasing real-life parent-child interactions.
Requirements:
- Parent and child teams, including both moms and dads, of any ethnicity or age.
- Open to both real families and individual submissions.
- We are specifically looking for the following child categories:
- Infants: 10-22 lbs (3-9 months old)
- Rear-facing toddlers: 20-30 lbs (closer to 2 years old)
- Forward-facing kids: 40-55 lbs (4-6 years old)
- Booster-age kids: 55-80 lbs (8-9 years old)
- Willingness to travel to Charlottesville, VA, for filming.
- Comfortable being on camera and demonstrating child safety procedures.
Compensation:
- $350 per person per day, less any applicable fees.
- Travel arrangements to Charlottesville, VA, are the responsibility of the participants.
