Role: Retiree
Description: We are currently seeking a male or female actor, age 70 or above, of any ethnicity, who uses a wheelchair for an upcoming episode of a Los Angeles-based television series. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with minimal movement and portray a retiree character.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a retiree character in a wheelchair with authenticity and depth.
- Ability to take direction well and adapt to changes in shooting requirements.
- Attend costume fittings or makeup sessions as required by the production team.
- Work closely with the director, producers, and other actors to bring the character to life.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality throughout the shooting.
Requirements:
- Must be 70 years of age or older.
- Must use a wheelchair.
- Open to men and women of any ethnicity.
- Previous acting experience preferred but not required.
- Must be a member of SAG-AFTRA.
- Comfortable with being on set for an 8-hour day.
- Must be available on the specified date and able to travel to the Los Angeles location.
Compensation Details:
- Pay rate is $208 for an 8-hour day, in accordance with SAG-AFTRA guidelines.
- Transportation costs to and from the set will be the responsibility of the actor.
