About the Project: We are excited to announce casting for an experienced stand-in for our upcoming feature film, “OOPS ALL BERRIES.” This project promises to be an engaging cinematic experience, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team.
Role Description: The stand-in will work closely with the director and cinematography team to ensure lighting, camera setup, and scene composition are meticulously prepared before shooting scenes with the actors. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and quality of production, offering a unique behind-the-scenes experience in the filmmaking process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on set during the designated shooting schedule, closely following instructions from the director and director of photography.
- Assume the positions, movements, and posture of the principal actors to assist with the setup of lighting and camera angles.
- Participate in camera tests and technical rehearsals as required.
- Maintain flexibility and availability for the duration of the assigned work dates.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operation and timely execution of scenes.
Requirements:
- Male, height between 6’0″ and 6’4″.
- Waist size between 30-38 inches.
- Complexion, hair length, and facial hair must be similar to the reference image (image not provided here, but will be shared with selected candidates).
- Previous experience as a stand-in on film or television sets is highly preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a professional work ethic.
- Ability to take direction well and adapt quickly to changes on set.
- Must be available for an interview/camera test on February 21st and for all scheduled work dates.
Compensation Details:
- The compensation for this role is $196 for a 12-hour workday.
- An interview rate of $49 for a 2-hour session will be provided.
- This position is classified as a non-union job.
