NOW CASTING SUNDAY IS FOR LOVERS – NON UNION SHORT FILM
Storyline: A narrative short film which follows a young woman who comes home to her father’s enshrined infidelity.
Audition: Self-Tape
Shooting: Friday May 27, Saturday May 28, or Sunday May 29 2022
Rate: $150/day. One filming day and potentially days in April for rehearsals.
Roles:
(Lead) Adesola Female 18 – 25
- Black / Nigerian. Adesola is a watchful young woman. Safety, security, and service are her core values. She’s skeptical of all things new: whether furniture, restaurants, styling choices or major life milestones. She is the cautious, watchful older sister who thinks three times before she speaks.
(Lead) Bola Female 35 – 45
- Black / Nigerian. Bola is the mom-in-chief and the glue of the family. Between her salon and deep pots of food, she’s well known in the neighborhood.
