Seeking skilled actors, singers and dancers with great expressions and comedic timing to play 15-16 years old!

Due to the physical proximity that may be required on set, we ask that all applicants, as well as those accompanying them, be “adequately protected” against COVID-19. People are considered “adequately protected” when one of the following situations applies: (i) they have received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in the past seven or more days (AstraZeneca, Covishield, Moderna, Pfizer or a combination of these vaccines); (ii) they have received a dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine (outside Québec) in the past 14 or more days; (iii) they got COVID-19 more than six months ago and received a dose of vaccine in the past seven or more days; (iv) they got COVID-19 in the past six months.

Talents (or their legal guardians) who object to receive a vaccination on the basis of a protected ground under human rights legislation, such as disability or religion, shall advise Jesse Griffiths of the basis for such objection and request an accommodation in writing prior the date of audition. Casting Young Adults for Branded Digital Series (Guelph/Kitchener/Waterloo)

Job Description: We are seeking diverse and engaging Canadians, aged 18 to 30, from the Guelph, Kitchener, and Waterloo areas to participate in an exciting new branded content episodic digital series. This is a great opportunity to be featured in a digital series focusing on real, unscripted conversations about life and finances. No acting experience is necessary!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in casual, unscripted discussions on topics related to life goals and personal finances.
  • Engage in conversations with other participants and the host while riding in a car.
  • Share personal stories and experiences, particularly focused on financial journeys and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Diverse Canadians, aged 18 to 30, living in the Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo areas.
  • Must have an engaging personality and be comfortable with open discussions.
  • No prior acting experience is required.
  • Participants must be open to casual, unscripted conversations on financial topics such as student loans, side hustles, and financial independence.
  • A background check will be conducted for all selected participants.

Compensation:

  • $200 per session (no more than 4 hours of filming).
  • $500 for a 1-year digital buyout (total compensation: $700+).

Casting Call: Recurring Roles for a New Series

Job Description: Kenyon Wells Casting Agency is seeking talented young male actors for two recurring speaking roles in an upcoming series. Acting experience is preferred but not required. We encourage submissions from all BIPOC communities. The production is committed to diversity and inclusivity in its casting.

Available Roles:

  • Role 1: Male, 12-15 years old, of Trinidadian descent (as currently scripted).
  • Role 2: Male, 12-15 years old, a strong hip-hop dancer, of Jamaican descent (as currently scripted).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform in a recurring speaking role for the series.
  • Follow direction from the production and creative team.
  • Deliver lines confidently and naturally on camera.
  • For Role 2: Perform strong hip-hop dance moves and follow choreography.
  • Work collaboratively with cast members and crew.

Requirements:

  • Male actors, aged 12-15.
  • Must be able to speak standard North American English with a generic Canadian accent, or an authentic cultural accent relevant to the character.
  • Role 2 must be a strong hip-hop dancer.
  • Must have Canadian work status and be able to work in Montreal, Canada.

Compensation:

  • Details regarding compensation will be discussed upon selection.
  • Filming will take place for 12 days in November 2024, with specific shoot days for these roles to be determined.

Casting Call: Photodouble for Film Production

Job Description: We are currently seeking a photodouble for an upcoming film production. The ideal candidate should match the physical description provided and be available for filming in Milton. Shuttle service is available upon request for transportation to the filming location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a photodouble for a character in a professional film production.
  • Follow direction from the production team to ensure continuity and accuracy on screen.
  • Maintain professionalism and flexibility while on set.
  • Participate in all required scenes for the assigned character.

Requirements:

  • Height: 5’0″
  • Weight: 95 lbs
  • Clothing size: T-shirt (Large kids), Pants (10/12 kids), Shoes (Men’s size 7)
  • Must be able to commute to the filming location in Milton or use the provided shuttle service.

The character radiates confidence, vulnerability, and charisma, bringing light and energy to every scene. As Elle navigates her high school years, she will encounter her first love, heartbreak, and significant moral challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray Elle Woods, a vibrant and dynamic high school student who is both a natural leader and a caring friend.
  • Bring the character’s charm, wit, and strong sense of justice to life on screen, maintaining Elle’s signature confidence and charisma.
  • Act in various scenes ranging from light-hearted comedic moments to emotional and dramatic sequences, including scenes of first love and heartache.

  • Comfortable performing in a dynamic environment surrounded by party onlookers.
  • Experience in similar roles is a plus but not required.
  • Must be available to shoot in Toronto.

Compensation:

  • Pay: $3,000 if selected.
  • This is a non-union campaign.
