We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team for the upcoming BET+ feature film, “The Day Before Christmas.” This project is gearing up in Atlanta, GA, and we’re on the hunt for a dedicated stand-in to fulfill a crucial role within our production. Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director, cinematographer, and other crew members to ensure scenes are set up accurately for lighting, camera setup, and rehearsal purposes.
- Stand in for the principal actor(s) during the technical setup of scenes, including lighting and camera framing.
- Follow the director and cinematographer’s instructions to position, move, and act in ways that mirror the principal actor’s movements for the purpose of technical and lighting setups.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and punctuality throughout the production.
- Be prepared to work flexible hours as required by the shooting schedule.
Requirements:
- Must be African American, Male or Female, aged 18 or older.
- Height must be between 4’6” and 5’2” to match the specific requirements of the role.
- Prior experience as a stand-in on film or television sets is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available for the duration of the filming period.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work well under the direction of multiple department heads.
- Must be local to Atlanta, GA, or willing to work as a local hire (no accommodation or travel expenses provided).
Compensation:
- The pay rate is $170 per 12-hour shift. Overtime, if applicable, will be compensated as per industry standards.
