Casting Call: “The Hunting Wives” – Featured Role for Arm Amputee (Male or Female)

Project Description: “The Hunting Wives” is a compelling new production set to film in the vibrant city of Charlotte, North Carolina, and its picturesque surrounding areas. This project seeks to tell a gripping story that combines elements of drama, suspense, and the resilience of the human spirit. As part of our commitment to authentic storytelling, we are looking for a special individual to bring depth and realism to a key role within our narrative.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray a character who is a veteran, bringing authenticity and depth to the role.
• Collaborate closely with the director and other cast members to develop a compelling character arc.
• Participate in rehearsals as scheduled to ensure a seamless performance.
• Attend costume fittings and makeup sessions as required to accurately represent the character’s physicality and background.
• Be willing to share insights and personal experiences that may enhance the portrayal of the character (while respecting personal boundaries and comfort).

Requirements:

• Male or Female, 18 years or older.
• Must be an arm amputee (any level of amputation).
• Prior acting experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must have a positive attitude and be comfortable working as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
• Ability to take direction well and adapt to changes in script and scenes.
• Availability for the entire shooting schedule in Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas (dates will be confirmed upon casting).

Compensation Details:

• This is a Featured Role with Special Ability Pay Rate. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Specific details regarding the pay rate will be discussed during the casting process.
• Travel expenses for non-local hires and accommodations may be provided based on need and at the discretion of the production team.
