Pylon Utility (Utility II) for ESPN

Job Description:
ESPN is seeking a Pylon Utility II for an upcoming college football game between Vanderbilt and Missouri at Faurot Field in Columbia, MO. The selected candidate will assist with setting up and operating pylon cameras on the field, ensuring that all equipment is working correctly and capturing footage from specific angles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up, manage, and operate pylon cameras during the game.
  • Ensure camera angles are properly positioned to capture key moments of the game.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure all equipment is functioning smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues with the pylon cameras as they arise.
  • Follow directions from the production crew and ensure timely setup and operation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar utility or camera operation role is preferred.
  • Must be physically fit and able to work on the field, setting up equipment and ensuring smooth camera operation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure during live events.
  • Knowledge of football and field layouts is beneficial.
  • Must be a team player and able to take direction well.

Compensation:

  • Competitive daily rate based on industry standards.

 

Family Caregivers for Video Project in Kansas City

Job Description: Genuine is casting family caregivers local to the Kansas City area to participate in a special round-table video project. We are seeking caregivers who are actively caring for a senior loved one and making decisions related to senior living, home care, or other aspects of eldercare. Whether you are caring for a parent, spouse, in-law, or another relative, we want to hear your story and explore the challenges and rewards of being a family caregiver.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a round-table conversation about your experiences as a caregiver.
  • Share personal stories and insights on caregiving, including how you manage senior living decisions, home care, and the emotional aspects of caregiving.
  • Offer perspectives from various caregiving situations, whether you are new to caregiving (less than 1 year), have been caregiving for several years, or provide care part-time or full-time.

Requirements:

  • Open to all ethnicities, genders, and abilities, aged 35+.
  • Must currently be in the midst of caring for a senior loved one.
  • This includes caregivers for parents, in-laws, spouses, grandparents, or other relatives.
  • You must be local to the Kansas City area and available to participate in filming.

Compensation:

  • If selected for the final project, you will be paid $500 for participation.
  • The project involves taking part in a round-table, conversation-style video shoot about family caregiving.
