Virginia Lottery is seeking talented and diverse dancers for their upcoming commercial, “Shine On.” We are looking for dancers with a variety of styles and backgrounds to bring our vision to life. The commercial will feature a lively and vibrant scene on a bustling Main Street, showcasing the unique and diverse talent within Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hero Dancer: Portray the main character, a creative and stylish individual in their early 30s, dancing through Main Street. Participate in rehearsals and follow choreography.

  • Featured Dancers and Background Dancers: Perform various dance styles as different characters such as construction workers, bus drivers, skaters, business people, and joggers with dogs. Follow choreography and contribute to a dynamic group performance.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years of age.

  • Must be a current Virginia resident.

  • Ability to follow choreography.

  • Experience in one or more of the following dance styles:

    • Modern Dance

    • Swing Dance

    • Salsa Dance

    • Break Dance

    • Ballet Dance

    • Hip Hop Dance

    • Aerial Dance

    • Skateboarding/Skate Dance

    • Rollerblading

    • Street Art/Muralism

Compensation:

  • Hero Dancer: $1,250 (includes rehearsal, session for 2 shoot days, and usage)

  • Featured Dancer: $400 (includes rehearsal, session for 1 shoot day, and usage; some may be booked for 2 days)

  • Dancing Extra: $250/day (includes rehearsal, and shoot day/buyout)

  • Travel: Hotel and mileage available for those who qualify based on distance.

  • Renewal Option: Additional non-consecutive 2nd and 3rd one-year terms at a 10% increase on the original buyout/usage fee.

Job Description:

We are seeking owners of vintage cars from the 1960s-1970s for a major film project directed by Pharrell Williams. Your vehicle may be prominently featured, either parked or driven on the set of this exciting movie musical. This is a fantastic opportunity to see your vintage car on the big screen and be part of a major film production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a vintage car for use on a film set for the duration of the shooting day.

  • Stay with your vehicle at all times to oversee its use and ensure its security.

  • Be prepared to potentially drive your vehicle as part of a scene, under the direction of the film crew.

  • Follow all directions from the production staff regarding the positioning and use of your vehicle on set.

Requirements:

  • Must own a 1960s-1970s vehicle that runs well. The car can be a “beater” as long as it is operational.

  • No red or white cars will be accepted; however, maroon or off-white/cream colors are acceptable.

  • Must be available for the entire day on Monday, June 17, in Virginia Beach, VA.

  • Must be willing to comply with all set regulations and production guidelines while on set.

Compensation Details:

  • Total compensation of $408 per day.

  • This includes a $208 daily rate for your time and a $200 bump for the use of your vehicle.

We are seeking local talent for a one-day shoot for the series “American Detective,” streaming on Max. The episode will be filmed in and around a boat, so familiarity with boats is essential. The role involves portraying Alan, a deranged serial killer.

Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character of Alan, a deranged serial killer, in various scenes.

  • Perform scenes in and around a boat, including driving and working on the boat.

  • Wade through ankle-deep water while wearing waders.
