Job Detail: Gilbert & Covell Casting is excited to announce an open casting call for kids and teenagers based in the West Midlands, aged 12 to 19 years, to take on series regular roles in an upcoming TV Show produced by BBC Studios. This is a fantastic opportunity for young talents to participate in an engaging and dynamic project that caters to children and young adults.
Job Responsibilities: Selected candidates will be required to portray series regular roles in the BBC Studios’ TV Show. This involves bringing characters to life, delivering authentic lines, and contributing to the storyline. Child cast members will receive on-set tutoring during term times to ensure a balance between education and work commitments.
Requirements:
- Age: 12 to 19 years (or able to present within this age range)
- Location: Must be based in the West Midlands area
- Diversity: All appearances and heritages are welcome
- Gender: All genders are encouraged to apply
- Abilities: Both non-disabled and disabled actors are eligible
- Experience: No previous acting experience required
Compensation Details: All roles are paid professionally and accompanied by official BBC contracts. The filming will take place in Coventry, UK, from 14th August 2023 to 19th January 2024, with a break for the Christmas holidays.
