Job Description: We are seeking talented actors for the upcoming absurdist horror-comedy film, “THE NIGHT HAS 1000 DESIRES!” written and directed by Vance Osteen. This unique project explores dark humor and the absurdity of human desires. The film will shoot in Tallahassee, FL, from February 13th to February 18th, 2024.
Job Responsibilities: As a member of the cast, you will be responsible for bringing your character to life and contributing to the overall success of the film. The lead role of Thomas Waller requires a high level of commitment and comfort with the following elements:
- Portraying Thomas Waller, a mid-30s to mid-40s white male, who is immature and directionless, dealing with the horrors of his youth and his emerging desires.
- Performing full-frontal nudity (as required by the script).
- Engaging in simulated intimacy scenes.
- Participating in eating and smoking scenes.
- Performing stunt work as necessary for the role.
Requirements: To be considered for the role of Thomas Waller, you must meet the following requirements:
- Male actor in the age range of mid-30s to mid-40s.
- Comfortable with full-frontal nudity, simulated intimacy, eating, smoking, and stunt work.
- Strong acting skills and the ability to convey complex emotions.
- Previous experience in film or theater is a plus.
- Must be available for shooting in Tallahassee, FL, from February 13th to February 18th, 2024.
Compensation Details:
- The role of Thomas Waller is a lead role.
- Rate of pay: $125/day + 10%.
- Accommodations and meals will be provided during the shooting period.
- Transportation to and from the shooting location will be arranged.
