Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character of Cora, capturing the complexity of her emotional and mental state.
- Work closely with the director to bring authenticity and depth to the character’s journey.
- Participate in any required rehearsals prior to the shoot day.
- Be available for the entire duration of the shoot on April 18th, from 8:00 AM to Noon.
Requirements:
- Female, early 40s to early 50s, of any ethnicity.
- Strong acting skills, with the ability to convey deep emotional experiences and mental illness authentically.
- Must be a local hire in the Greater Richmond, VA area.
- Previous acting experience in film/theater (preferred).
- Ability to work well under direction and bring a character to life through a nuanced performance.
- Must submit audition via self-tape by the specified deadline.
Compensation Details:
- Day Rate: $75 per shoot day.
- Final engagement of services is contingent upon university budget approval.
- This is a non-union project.
