• BASKETBALL PLAYER: 18 to 30 years old, all ethnicities male or female. Very fit body types. Must have a real talent and love for basketball. Video of playing may be requested.
• TAQUERIA MALE & FEMALE: 20 to 35 years old, all ethnicities male. Edgy, stylish & urban looks. A couple walking through a vibrant neighborhood.
• MOVING FRIEND: 20 to 35 years old, all ethnicities male or female. New couple/roommates move into the neighborhood.
• WALL WOMAN: 20 to 34 years old, all ethnicities female. Beautiful, vibrant, creative and charismatic woman painting a mural on a city wall. An actual artist (professional or non) is a plus. 
• STREET DANCER: 18 to 30 years old, all ethnicities male or female. Edgy, fun and urban looks. Freestyle, hip hop, or breakdancer. May request videos of dancing.

CASTING OUTGOING INDIAN/SOUTH ASIAN MEN, 20-70 YRS OLD, FOR A MEANINGFUL MAJOR BANK BRAND COMMERCIAL!

We’re seeking South Asian men, in the GTA who are proudly Canadian (by birth, or by immigration). Additionally, if you have a father, son, uncle or nephew, please feel free to apply with them as we are telling a wonderful multi-generational story.

Did you, your parents or grandparents immigrate to Canada from India or South Asia? Are you proud to have built a life in Canada, or of your father/grandfather for having done so? If so, we want to hear from you!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND ONLY APPLY IF YOU FIT THE CRITERIA:

– If you are represented by a talent agent, please double check with them that they have not submitted you for this project.

– All of the following notes and form questions must apply to you, and if applicable, everyone you are applying with.

– This is an ACTRA project, open to non-union individuals and no acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being interviewed on camera.

– To apply, you MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada.

– To participate, you MUST be fully vaccinated.

– To participate, you MUST be able to film in the GTA.

– If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief online interview with the director on April 27th.

– If selected, you MUST be available for a PCR COVID test on May 1st.

– If selected, you MUST be available for a wardrobe appointment on May 2nd.

– If selected, you MUST be available for filming on May 4th.

– If booked, you will receive $100+ for a covid test appointment, $100+ for a wardrobe fitting appointment, $800+ for the shoot day and an additional $2,000+ if your footage is in the final commercial.

The rate for this project is $250 for 8 hours or less.

This video will be for internal agency use only. If the test is a success, they will come back and shoot the actual commercial(s) sometime in the future.

Here are the role descriptions I was given:

• Carlos – Latino, 62-ish, mustache, middle build (Construction Malfunction)
• Debra – Mediterranean, 56-ish, middle build, shorter hair (Painful Peel)

We are looking to cast a range of unique and friendly faces to be featured in a stills campaign for a commercial property company. Looking for women between 20 – 45 yrs and children between 5 – 10 yrs.

***Please note that all precautions are being taken by production and the client to make sure talent will be working in a clean and safe environment. COVID safe plans will be adhered to on set. 

TALENT FEES: 

Selected Adult Talent will receive $2,500 AUD for their involvement 

Selected Child Talent will receive $800 AUD for their involvement
