CASTING FOR A COMMERCIAL

Are you or do you know someone (friend, family member or neighbor) receiving Medicare benefits and has additional coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan or Blue Care Network? 

We are in search of Blue Cross Members who are comfortable on camera to offer testimonial for an upcoming video production. Production would take place the week of August 28, 2022.

Participants would need to be available for an interview day with Chuck Gaidica and a B Roll day where we film them doing an activity/hobby they enjoy.

All filming will take place in the Metro Detroit Area.

Requirements:

• Ages: 65 and over
• Receiving Medicare Benefits and have additional coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan or Blue Care Network
• Elgible plans includes Blue Cross or Blue Care Network
  • Part D (Prescription Drug Plan)
  • Supplement Plan (Medigap/MedSupp)
  • Medicare Advantage Plan
• Willing to be on camera and possibly TV

Production Title: Commercial Casting Call

Job Description: Casting directors are now casting real families to work on scenes filming somewhere in SE Michigan between Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st. Must be able to work from the said date. 

Roles: 

• 3 Family Members 
  • Mom, Daughter (age 8-15), and Grandfather.
  • They own a small family farm; the mom has taken it. 
  • Over since her father is aging and is teaching her daughter about taking care of the farm and honor

• 1 Elderly Woman 
  • Sweet woman who has been living with food insecurity. However, thanks to the community and the family-owned farm, she has fresh produce delivered to her door.

• Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Native American, Pacific Islander, Bi-Racial, Mediterranean (Basically, not obviously white or black.) for all four roles.

Covid Test: TBD

Usage: Events/web/digital global – 2 years

Rate: Pay is $637.50 per person + $637.50 usage (if they use the footage) net payments

Production Title: (Indie Film) ‘Canvas’

Job Description: Casting directors are now casting extras to work on scenes filming in  Holland, Michigan on Tuesday, June 7th.

Role: Pedestrians

• 18-70 years of age
• All ethnicities

Covid Test: June 7,2022

Rate: Pay is $80.00/ 8 hours ($10.00 an hour with an 8 hour guarantee and time and a 1/2 after 8 hours)

General Extras rate is $150/10hrs.
Production provided COVID Testing for Monday will be this Friday or Saturday morning in Ferndale.

Specific details will be sent to those selected as Extras.

TWO PEOPLE NEEDED FOR A HEALTH CARE COMMERCIAL TEST SHOOT IN THE DETROIT AREA ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12TH!!

The rate for this project is $250 for 8 hours or less.

This video will be for internal agency use only. If the test is a success, they will come back and shoot the actual commercial(s) sometime in the future.

• Carlos – Latino, 62-ish, mustache, middle build (Construction Malfunction)
• Debra – Mediterranean, 56-ish, middle build, shorter hair (Painful Peel)
