We are currently seeking a passionate senior manager of IT leading IT Automation team, responsible for our Overseas Employee Center & associated ServiceNow enterprise platform, workflow automation, productivity platforms (Slack, Jira, Confluence) and other IT infrastructure delivery and automation. IT is at the frontier and provide one of the most important experience for our global employees every day.
Working closely with global Overseas IT operations teams in AMER, Europe and APAC, as well as HR, finance, facilities business teams, this role will play a critical leadership role to design, build and operate a simple, sleek, cohesive digital employee experience, including the necessary applications, tools, gadgets and processes. Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish/lead practical, best in industry, global IT automation strategy, to enable high user productivity and high IT delivery/support efficiency.
- Lead the IT automation COE (center of excellence) and rapid solution delivery, empowering IT Ops.
- Lead the OEC (Overseas Employee Center) delivery, as the one stop shop for overseas users, with advanced workflow mgmt. and employee self services.
- Lead ServiceNow platform & services delivery for IT, HR, legal, facilities etc.
- Lead the productivity platforms including Slack, Jira, Confluence and related integrations, such as Slack ServiceNow integration & automation.
- Lead automation such as AI chatbots, slackbots etc. to improve overseas users productivity.
- Establish one of the best, globally managed EE IT platform, services, and collaborative productivity tools, for example but not limited, instant messaging, collaboration, workspace, knowledge management, issue resolution, ticketing etc.

Qualifications:
- Strong experience in ServiceNow implementation is required.

- Demonstrable results in delivering modern, integrated, innovative digital IT automation experience and cloud-based SaaS applications.
- 5+ years of experience managing global IT teams and delivering towards global+local business/IT needs.
- Good knowledge of IT compliance and global regulations in data security, cyber security, and privacy.
The base pay range for this position in California is $115,800 to $212,300 per year.
Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.

Temporary Position (4-6 months)
Job Summary
In this role you will report to the EVP, Human Resources while working alongside members of the Academy and Academy Museum HR teams and Legal teams. This role requires your strategic support with various Employee Relations issues while working independently and assisting the teams in administering policies and programs. You will take the lead on conducting workplace investigations including presenting findings and providing recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with members of the HR team (and Legal as necessary) to conduct workplace investigations and make recommendations on appropriate courses of action
- Conduct intake interviews, develop an investigative plan and conduct formal investigations when necessary, maintain accurate and thorough investigatory files and reports, and appropriately work with other internal departments as needed.
- Act with a high degree of integrity and ensure cases are handled fairly, consistently, transparently, timely and comprehensively
- Prepare and document investigation reports, findings and corrective action documents
- Collaborate closely with HR, employment counsel, and business leaders
- Advise on ER issues and conduct training on Employee Relations policies and best practices
- Lead and participate in HR projects that support business and HR initiatives such as pay transparency, compliance, employee handbook and related policies
- Evaluate and enhance HR policies and procedure
- Identify and articulate potential implications of HR policies and programs
- Advise and assist in union-related work
- Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
- Advanced degree, Juris Doctorate, or other specialized training focused on employee/labor relations
- Solid understanding of workplace investigations, union and labor relations
- Detailed knowledge of employment and human resources practices, procedures and laws, involving performance management, corrective action, progressive discipline including termination of employment
- Experience working with employment law principles and conducting and advising on investigations
- Demonstrated ability to remain collaborative and objective while under pressure
- Confirmed problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to self-manage and self-direct multiple competing priorities
- Ability to multitask while working in an environment with demanding timeframes and competing interests
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to write concise reports

The expected starting salary for this role is $85,000.00. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
