About The Team
Crunchyroll Games is a new division of Crunchyroll passionate about bringing the best of anime and anime-look games to Crunchyroll’s global audience. The Crunchyroll Games team is growing fast! We are a cross-functional team of highly-motivated people spanning several internal departments — from Business to Marketing to Audience Development to Design. The team works closely with external content providers and licensors to develop and promote mobile games for the Crunchyroll community. We deploy a large scale budget against a wide array of paid marketing channels to drive brand awareness, conversion, and new users as well as lifecycle communications crafted to engage, retain, and promote additional value to our existing users.
As the Associate Producer (Japanese), this person will handle frontline communications with development teams for clear messaging on production and live operations of mobile games. This staff member will handle the life cycle of launched games as well as become a control tower for the titles they represent. They will also be charged with proofreading and approving localized content as well as communicating with the appropriate parties and vendors for said translations and keeping up with basic approval processes for assets and text.
Operational duties:
- Developer communication
- Cross functional internal communication with QA, CS, UA, Marketing, Operations, etc
- Management of production schedules, in game events, notices, timelines, as well as other various and typical game operations tasks.
- Basic oversight of community / social media / customer service
- Language Interpretation with external or overseas partners
Localization duties:
- Translate and localize in-game text, user interface, and other game strings as needed.
- Manage quality and schedule of external localization vendors or by localization coordinators as needed
- Assist in planning localization projects and updating various localization process documents as projects are received and completed
- Localize pitch documents and proposals to Asian developers and/or IP holders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Project coordination skills
- 1-2 years’ work experience in video game development.
- Understanding of the end-to-end localization process for games or software products
- Excellent English written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to cultivate productive and positive relationships with external partners, managers, and peers

Our growing and dynamic production team is now looking for a senior, experienced Executive Producer who will be responsible for producing large scale projects as well as managing production teams across multiple projects on behalf of the company’s top clients.

As an Executive Producer at BMF, you possess in-depth experience strategizing and producing a wide range of events. You can manage multiple priority projects and can envision the big picture while working hands-on to create and implement tactical solutions. You are excellent at working with Account, Creative, and Strategy and teams to ensure logistical and budget feasibility. You have a keen eye for detail, time management, team coordination, problem-solving abilities, and budgeting. What a day in the life will look like:
Departmental Management:
- Provide production expertise and leadership – guide internal teams to anticipate and meet client goals/objectives, and foster organic growth
- Contribute to day-to-day management of internal and freelance producers, ensure projects are on track and reconciled in a timely manner
- Provide departmental administrative support including signing off on invoices, reviewing contracts, ensuring credit cards are reconciled, and budgets are closed
- Assist in production staff planning for both long-term and freelance for all offices
- Support overall budgeting process to ensure profitability
- Provide coaching and managerial oversight to junior staff
Production:
- Oversee and occasionally manage all facets of pre-event production, onsite management, and post-event breakdown.
- Able to oversee multiple events from beginning to end, often occurring simultaneously.
- Able to work closely with Account teams on client communications and deliverables
- Create, manage, and oversee complex event budgets, from concept to reconciliation to ensure profitability.
- Oversee venue scouting and selection.
- Work with Creative and Client Services teams to ensure the client’s vision is being met.
- Guide project team in the selection of high quality, vendors, including venue, catering, décor, fabrication, audio, lighting, photography and staffing.
- Work with BMF talent and influencer department to secure talent and fulfill riders if needed.
- Partnering with BMF Client Service leads to ensure successful client communications.
- Responsible for ensuring teams create and maintain key event documents including budget, activation deck, recap deck, run of show, work back schedule, contact list.
Pre-Contract Production Support:
- Contribute to the development of creative pitches/proposals ensuring budget and executional feasibility. When necessary, work hand in hand with a creative strategist to develop alternative concepts to fit within project confines.
- Responsible for overseeing pricing out of creative concepts, and production budgets generation included in proposals.
- Provide pre-contract departmental support including vendors; and participating in client pitch meetings.
- Strong working knowledge of new, unique venues and cutting-edge vendors
- Attends weekly brainstorms and RFP meetings.
- Working with Talent and Digital departments in securing talent and fulfilling riders if needed.
- Responsible for overseeing adherence and quality control to BMF processes and key event documents including budget, activation deck, recap deck, run of show, work back schedule, and contact list.
What you need to succeed at BMF:
You must have:
- At least 8-10 years combined experience in Events or Experiential on the agency/contractor/client side
- Five years minimum of experience as a Senior Producer in an agency setting and comfortable/measurable experience
- producing budgets of $1mm and up
- Exceptional budgeting skills.
- Extraordinary organizational and management skills, strong ability to multitask.
- Deep knowledge of cutting-edge venues, vendors and tastemakers.

Our VFX Supervisors oversee the creative and technical output over multiple projects and teams, as well as being client facing and working with Directors, Production Companies and other Creative leads.
We are looking for a skilled on-the-box Artist who can lead projects in Flame and ideally composite complex CG VFX projects in Nuke.
Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising VFX projects
- Working closely with other VFX artists and departments to deliver the highest quality work

- Breaking-down and quoting on complex VFX projects

Our Client is a Game Studio looking to bring on a Senior Producer with experience in Shipping AAA Titles.
Job Description
- Jointly own the long-term planning and delivery of one of our projects
- Create roadmaps based on backlogs and work with Leads to establish sprint and milestone goals
- Work across disciplines to align priorities and solve dependencies
- Run monthly & weekly processes that motivate the team & communicate key information
- Drive the monthly deliverables in our production tool and keep this updated and useful for the team’s work
- Prioritize each day to complete tasks that have the highest impact on the game’s quality & adherence to its deadlines
- Question how things are done in the studio and be a driving force for positive change
- Build relationships across the team at all levels and spend energy improving the team’s culture and relationships in the studio
What we are looking for
- Positive, excellent leader of game teams
- Experience being the person responsible for a game’s delivery
- Ability and natural interest in creating relationships at all levels
- Excellent ability to run monthly milestones & long-term schedules
- Expert at using JIRA

About The Position
The Santa Cruz Warriors (SCW) are looking for an Assistant to support the Public and Community Relations team with events and administrative work. This position reports to the Director, Public & Community Relations.

This is a part-time position located onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of SCW community and sponsored events (i.e., event creation, connecting with community groups, event set up/tear down, capturing social content, etc.)
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as tracking events, assisting with donations, etc.
- Assist with events at Kaiser Permanente Arena, such as season ticket member and partner events, concerts, shows, etc.
- Assist Coordinator, Public Relations with game day prep (i.e., credential creation, ticket distribution, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and community
- Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
Time Commitment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays according to game and event schedule
