Featured Background Roles – The Last Day (NYC)

Job Description: We are currently casting featured background roles for the upcoming feature film The Last Day, directed and written by Rachel Rose. This film is a loose adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s groundbreaking novel Mrs. Dalloway. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can bring authenticity and depth to the scenes in this SAG Theatrical project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray various background characters in key scenes of the film, contributing to the overall atmosphere and narrative.
  • Follow the direction of the Director and Assistant Directors to ensure the seamless execution of scenes.
  • Maintain a professional attitude on set, including punctuality and the ability to take direction well.
  • Work collaboratively with the cast and crew to bring the vision of the film to life.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in background acting or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to commit to multiple shooting days as required by the production schedule.
  • Must be based in or willing to travel to NYC for filming.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to maintain professionalism on set.

Compensation:

  • Rate of Pay: SAG-AFTRA Scale for Background Roles: $216/day (Theatrical Contract).
