Seeking amazing woman who identifies as fat and trans for two-hander short play (20 min) that attacks transphobia, bullying, and fat shaming with biting humour and sensitivity.
Short time frame; we need to record by April 7 for broadcast later in the month. Rehearsals online, production recorded via OBS.
Playwright: DJ Sylvis (they/them) Director: Jen Frankel (she/her). Priority to trans women, then gender fluid/non-binary, then all others.
Looking for people for documentary style branded content spot who want to celebrate the inspiring moms in their lives. Producers state: “We’d love to hear about your mothers, stepmoms, adoptive moms, families with two moms, or any mother figure who is important to you.”
Selected interviewees will receive an easy-to-use remote video kit. We will then conduct an interview+shoot b-roll using the kit and Zoom.
Hoping to get submissions from both women 21 – 50, and men 21 – 50.
Please submit a :30 clip about a funny story or a moving message about why your MOM is a such an important figure in your life.
KEY DATES: Remote interviews will be scheduled starting Mar. 15, 2021. Note: Shoot will take approximately three-four hours plus one hour set-up.
LOCATION: Your home! Production will deliver the kit and pick it up after the shoot.

Four Roles:
Brandon(protagonist): Clearly hiding big insecurities, he looks innocent but not well kept, he walks without a sense of direction or purpose, and holds a look on his face like he is constantly pondering something.
Ben: Elegant but not overdressed, he is calm, confident, collected, and speaks to our protagonist with judgement and silent disdain.
Homeless Man: In a state of stasis, not having to worry about the mundane, he chooses what to think about and how to think.
Girlfriend(voiceover): Sweet but clearly fed up with our protagonist and the relationship.
Script is attatched, lunch will be provided, friends to flesh out scenes encouraged.

Frank is a man of very few words. At first glance, he’s the man most men want to be: stylish, attractive
and on the outside, not bothered by anything. Inside though? He’s bothered, oh god is he bothered.
Frank is delicate, anxious and a chronic over-thinker. He has a terrible temper and pitifully low self
esteem. If he were an animal, he’d be one of those tomcats with big balls that’s still afraid of loud noises
