Adventures by Disney Commercial Casting

We’re seeking:

  • Real adventurous families and couples nationwide to go on a weeklong adventure in South Africa for an Adventures by Disney commercial. Experience wildlife, awe-inspiring nature, and the amazing people and cultures of South Africa. 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Filming: Third week of August. Exact Dates TBD. Participants should expect to be in South Africa for 10 days with 6 days of filming. Total 12-14 days commitment (this includes international travel time)  

WHERE: South Africa (see Adeventures by Disney’s current travel offerings to get a sense of what to expect) 

COMPENSATION: 

  • $2500 per person (+20% agent’s commission) 
  • $110 per person daily stipend for in-country days (10 days)

Adventures by Disney is a subsidiary of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products’s Signature Experiences division that provides group-guided family vacations to various domestic and international destinations.

  • REAL INVISALIGN PATIENTS whose lives have been transformed by their NEW SMILES!

We’re not just looking for people with flawless smiles. We are searching for individuals from all walks of life who are REAL INVISALIGN PATIENTS and reached a significant milestone with the help of their newfound confidence and smile.

All participants must have completed their invisalign treatment within the past two years or must currently be in treatment.

All participants must live & be able to legally work in the united states. No exceptions.

This project shoots in Los Angeles, CA.

Non-California residents will be flown to LA to film if selected.

Examples of real stories we’re open but not limited to:

  • – Someone who lived with a speech impediment prior to their Invisalign treatment and now has the confidence to speak up, maybe even in public
  • – A couple who fixed their smile together before their wedding day
  • – A parent who fixed their teeth at the same time as their teenage son or daughter
  • – a Content Creator who elevated their online presence after finding the confidence to smile on-camera
  • – Someone who wanted to fix their smile before returning to the office post-pandemic
  • – Someone who was self-conscious about turning on their camera for virtual work meetings
  • – An entrepreneur who reinvented themselves thanks to the confidence their new smile gifted them
  • – A teacher or public speaker who got a significant confidence boost now that they are no longer worried about their smile when commanding a room
  • – Someone who gained the confidence to go on dating apps after changing their smile
  • – Someone who met their now-significant-other shortly after completing their Invisalign treatment
  • – Someone who is in the middle of their Invisalign treatment and is already seeing and feeling the rewards of their changing smile

COMPENSATION:

FOR NON-UNION, ON-CAMERA PRINCIPALS

SESSION: $500.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) per shoot day. One-time fee covers all services and/or roles performed during the 10 hr. work day (excluding up to 1 hr. meal break). Overtime, if any will be paid @ $75.00 + 20% per hr. or fraction thereof after the initial 10 hrs.

WARDROBE FITTING: $75.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) covers all wardrobe fitting time for shoot

TRAVEL: $250.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) per travel day, if needed.

BUYOUT: $3,500.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) – Fee covers use of unlimited creative in all forms, of moving media, including, broadcast, digital, screen-grabs, behind-the-scenes, Industrial, worldwide, one year from the first public use date. Fee payable within 30 days from the first public use of any creative and provided the talent is fully recognizable in the final creative and if any such creative is used.

USAGE RENEWAL OPTIONS: 2x additional (1 year) renewals with 10% increase from the previous terms usage buyout. Usage renewal fee payable within 30 days from the start of the renewal term.

Onward Search is partnering with a clinical skincare brand to find a Creative Director/CD to join their team.

This is a 3 month contract role with potential to extend. This is an onsite position ONLY! Candidate must be willing to work onsite, in an office in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

After 3 months a hybrid schedule may be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and directing the creation of art, photo/video, copy, and layout for creative projects.
  • Scouting, contracting and finalizing outsourced creative projects or collaterals.
  • Supervising the creation and update of all packaging labels and containers.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines in all creative deliverables.
  • Implementing policies and standards that reinforce the organization’s branding strategy and quality goals.
  • Managing the the creative team and partners that may include graphic designers, videographers, copywriters, partners and vendors.
  • Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques for communication and advertising initiatives across all media.
  • Leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Portfolio showing Skincare, Cosmetic or Beauty campaigns and design work
  • Have in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models in the Skincare/Beauty industry.
  • 6-8 years of creative experience.
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or B2B-driven marketing.
  • Experience in the skincare or beauty industry strongly preferred.
  • A solid understanding of design, copy, and editorial practices
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills that will encourage, strengthen and develop a strong creative team while still satisfying the needs of the executive team.
  • Must be a creative thinker and strategic planner.
  • Must be proficient at setting realistic deadlines and remain flexible when priorities change.
  • Ability to ideate and execute on effective creative deliverables while ensuring constant adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, or equivalent professional experience required.

Summary

We are looking for an Art Director with a witty, quirky, funny, and a little edgy personality that can reflect the simple, free of concern, and socially conscious voice of the irreverent and iconic Sun Bum brand. And in doing so will help us take Sun Bum to the next level of global brand awareness and market disruption.

The Art Director will be responsible for leading the development of campaigns both large and small for digital and traditional platforms. These include but are not limited to motion, photography, animation, and print. Our ideal candidate will be able to create original work across a variety of mediums with exceptional skills in visual storytelling.

The person in this role will be responsible for delivering original design concepts while also maintaining the creative integrity and brand continuity of Sun Bum. They will collaborate closely with other members of the creative, brand, and social teams. They should be able to thoughtfully present their decision-making and also apply the direction given by team leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Passionate about creating skillfully crafted ideas across the web, mobile apps, social media, and traditional platforms.
  • Ability to create pitch decks to communicate ideas that excite and sell to marketing and partner teams.
  • Strong experience across a range of mediums including digital, social, integrated, and traditional.
  • Concept and produce brand and product visual communications delivering final executions on deadline.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to present new ideas or seasonal concepts to small and large groups.
  • Skillfully leads and maintains relationships with external partners including animators, filmers, artists, photographers, and producers ensuring content is on brand.
  • Responsible for maintaining global brand consistency across all visual communications.
  • Demonstrates expert-level knowledge of current trends in color, technology, communications, art, and other cultural design influences.
  • Have knowledge and passion for film, photography, design, animation, logo design, illustration, typography, color theory, and web design.
  • Ability to build and edit files using Adobe programs including Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Perform high-level oversight on certain specified projects by providing day-to-day feedback for designers in coordination with the Creative Director and VP of Marketing.
  • Guide the team towards appropriate solutions based on the overarching creative vision (and business objectives).
  • Mentor and inspire less experienced members of the team. Work actively with them to help them grow and develop their skills.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in graphic design and art direction
  • Possess a strong graphic design background, including having an excellent understanding of color theory, light logic, typography, iconography, layout, fundamentals, and composition
  • Extensive proficiency with Mac OS
  • Extensive proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Must have an understanding of working with brands and branding strategies
  • Must work well within a fast-paced environment and keep your cool while juggling multiple projects
  • Ability to work within the provided structure and handle direction with attention to production schedules
  • Must have great verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and be an overall team player

$140,000-$160,000 is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and there is flexibility based on the candidate’s qualifications.

As our Art Director, you will be the right hand to our CBO/Creative Director, overseeing a full 360, in-house design and production team of 9. With weekly production supervision of assets in Hong Kong and China, you will play a critical role in driving the creative vision for our brand.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of brand projects and touchpoints, including video, photo, social and influencer campaigns, marketing and promotional materials, email, print, branding and logo design, packaging, media and PR programs, and whatever comes next. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in a managerial role for design teams at a hypergrowth consumer startup or top tier CPG company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable presenting and selling-in creative ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You should also have awesome design chops with Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and an ability to evaluate future tools for team productivity.
