Senior PR & Communications Manager

Working closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and deliver a strategic, outcomes-focused PR & Communications plan supporting an ambitious company vision for a fast-paced, fast-growing SAAS technology company.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Develop and own public relations and communications strategy to support business-wide goals and make noise about THRIVE’s key milestones, product developments, future plans and people updates.
  • Develop media stories and pitches that align with the THRIVE vision, ethos, culture and journey. From planning to execution and analysis.
  • Build and maintain critical relationships with key media outlets, focusing on target national and international publications, as well as learning media, business press and trade press.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to support personal branding initiatives as part of wider strategy.
  • Advise on the role of PR and communications in key strategic business initiatives.
  • Advise on and implement additional media channels e.g. podcasts to spread awareness of THRIVE
  • Draft outstanding quality press materials including press releases, employee profiles, pitches, bylined articles, blogs and other content.
  • Become the point of contact for external media enquiries, and ensure brand guidelines and key messaging are communicated to relevant external stakeholders.
  • Manage a PR & Awards Specialist to drive strategic planning and execution of an ambitious awards strategy.
  • Work closely with customer marketing to support customer advocacy and feed customer stories into speaking/media opportunities, and customer case studies/testimonials.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong journalist relationships across tech and business media
  • Highly organised, self-directed and passionate about showcasing THRIVE’s growth and successes
  • Able to craft compelling copy and seamlessly adapt tone, PoV etc as required
  • Excellent at juggling multiple projects and deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Able to analyse PR initiatives and recommend / implement adjustments
  • Happy to work independently and cross-functionally as and when required
  • PR or agency experience in the tech sector (preferably B2B)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic, ever-changing environment

  • Follow the gameplay closely, adjusting the microphone to capture optimal audio as the action unfolds.
  • Work in coordination with the broadcast team to ensure continuous high-quality audio capture.
  • Stand for long periods and move along the field as needed to follow the action.
  • Adapt to outdoor conditions, including varying weather, while maintaining performance.

Requirements:

  • Must be physically fit and capable of standing and moving for extended periods.
  • A basic understanding of football or general sports is necessary to effectively follow the game and capture relevant audio.
  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure the best possible audio capture.
  • Prior experience with audio equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Description: We are seeking a vibrant actress to portray Viola, a key supporting character in an upcoming TV series. Viola is employed by a Jamaican CCTV installation company, where she excels in the customer service aspect of her job. She works closely with her colleague Julian, handling client interactions with a playful, sparky personality that exudes energy and charm. Despite her lively demeanor, Viola remains impressively professional, making her an invaluable part of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray Viola, capturing her lively, energetic personality and excellent customer service skills.
  • Work closely with the actor playing Julian to establish a dynamic and engaging working relationship on screen.
  • Participate in all scheduled rehearsals and filming sessions to ensure consistent character portrayal.
  • Travel to filming locations in the UK and Jamaica as required by the production schedule.

Requirements:

  • Female, Black, Jamaican, aged 40s.
  • Strong acting experience with the ability to portray a character who is both playful and professional.

We are looking for real couples to tell us their love stories on a new online comedy show. On this show, we follow two well known comedy/reality stars, as they chat to real couples and find out about the journey of their love life.
We are looking specifically for couples whose love stories might not always have been given a platform, these could be couples from the LGBTQ community, they could be interracial couples or even been apart of an arranged marriage. But the possibilities are endless!
The shoot is next Tuesday 9th in London (you do not need to be London based but we willing to travel in) so please urgently get in touch. All necessary covid precautions are being taken so the shoot can go ahead safely for cast and crew. Each couple will be paid £300 for 3 hours of their time.
