The Director of Videography/Photography (DVP), shoots compelling and engaging film, multimedia, and still content to support Drive Social Media’s digital marketing efforts. Simultaneously creating the visual dynamics of mood, tone, and style; in films and photo projects. Together with the videography/photography team members, the DVP coordinates the technical aspects of the film and photo process, such as lighting, visual effects, camera angles, and shots; to achieve the desired look for a particular project. Equally comfortable and productive, whether working autonomously or collaboratively in a daily role. Job duties also include location scouting, maintaining equipment, maintaining department’s budget, supervising direct reports, project management, and recruiting talent. Need to have a great eye for detail, strong leadership, ability to pivot, and excellent cross functional communication/collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the creative direction, vision, planning, and execution of all videography and photography across all four the Drive Social Media offices (and growing!); in partnership with internal creative stakeholders and executive leadership – executing high level deliverables to the agency’s client partners.
  • Responsible for collaborating on the department’s creative vision for each project including collaborating on shotlists/storyboards, providing creative input on shoots, post & music, working with directors, and other department leads, to execute video/photo vision
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders: Director of Copy, Director of Graphics, Directors of Strategy, and Executive leadership; ensuring accurate representation of agency’s creative media in 400+ client presentations and strategy discussions
  • Creates clear, differentiated, high-standards and scalable vision for video/photo creative within the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field required
  • 7+ years of exceptional skill and collaboration with photography, videography and design teams in concepting compelling campaigns with a digital first mindset, for social media marketing campaigns
  • Possess an outstanding portfolio with multiple industry touchpoints, with a variety of deliverables represented
  • Expert knowledge in photo and video principles; strong visual design sense, knowledge of typography & layout skills, keen eye for detail and brand identity awareness
  • Experience working with marketing teams and demonstrated flexibility in management of creative execution needs, and ability to positively respond to critique/feedback
  • Strong conceptual, communication, and critical thinking skills

About The Role

Join our growing Brand Studio as a 1st Senior Producer, partnering directly with our Head of Design Operations! You’ll own driving and managing cross-functional creative projects, establishing workflows and creative production processes. We are producing an indie film starring TikTok influencers with audience sizes over 1m using their audiences to guarantee ticket sales. We have received 2 financial offers in excess of $1m to fund the film. We’re best off co-producing the feature with a major French studio- and to do so, we need to show them a 12 minute treatment. We’re launching a viral marketing campaign for crowdfunding, in order to shoot the treatment. Pitch deck available upon request.

A motivated candidate with strong leadership, organizational, and intrapersonal skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable supervising team leaders, can pitch their own viral marketing projects to generate crowdfunding, and is an autonomous, out-of-the-box thinker. As a freelance assistant producer at ZINC Network, you are responsible for facilitating the production of short-form video content and influencer content for an exciting new campaign.

Based in London and reporting to the Producer, you will be responsible for suggesting and researching stories; setting up shoots in different countries; organising logistics; assisting on location as required; and overseeing edits. The role of the Creative Producer – Branded Content is a vital position, accountable for taking pitch winning creative ideas through to the finished asset.  You’ll be working very closely with the creative, production management and production teams as well as external resources and internal stakeholders to seamlessly deliver social first video content that consistently delivers on brief. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicating the creative vision clearly to production management, helping deliver accurate budgeting for all branded content video concepts.

To oversee the episodic assistants while providing support for production.

Associate Producer Responsibilities

Production Support

  • Firsthand communication with Producers upon arrival and throughout the day.
  • Keep the production team up to date on project status.
  • Generate prep and post status reports.
  • Working with the production team to manage project SAN space.

Assistants Team

  • Ensure your assists have all the information and elements require to perform and complete their tasks.
  • Evaluate and reprioritize tasks as needed to accommodate changes in the daily schedule.
  • Organize your assistants’ tasks to ensure projects meet their deadlines.

Preparations for Projects/Sessions

  • Assist producers in WO and task creation, job spec wrangling
  • Actualizing and billing out work orders.
  • Confirm all material needed for project has arrived and has been forwarded to the appropriate individual(s)
  • Interface with client if required materials for jobs are missing (i.e. rough cut, drives, etc.)

The Role

Jellysmack is seeking a Freelance Digital Creative Associate Producer to join our growing Marquee team. They will work on various Jellysmack original series across all of our marquee verticals, with an emphasis on our development. The Associate Producer must have experience producing for social video platforms such as Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. The Associate Producer will be a skilled short-form storyteller, and a problem solver, with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate excels in all aspects of production-from creative development to post-production. This Los Angeles-based position will report into the Director of Production and require cross-functional collaboration with our international offices.


The Responsibilities

  • Work in all phases of digital production including: development, pre-production, production and post; able to own a formatted project from start to finish
  • Analyze video data and performances to create strategy for new rounds of development
  • Assist with shoots, helping to coordinate creative and talent whether on location or in studio
