PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and execution of innovative communications strategies for brands, melding traditional and digital media
  • Write and produce high impact press materials including press kits, releases and pitches

The Account Manager will play an essential role in supporting the assigned Account Director in the development and execution of: generating maximum brand exposure through creative product placement, profile features and launches. The Account Manager must have a genuine passion for developing brands, using true initiative in order to achieve exceptional results. Impeccable client liaison skills and an established network of key contacts (brands and press) are essential.

 

Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager’s responsibilities would include increasing awareness for all brands assigned to them. In this role the Account Manager will promote the different clients in all activities, campaigns, special projects, shows, presentations and events to the media and to develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and media within your assigned and designated market, acting as an ambassador for Purple.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for assisting the premier designer (namesake) and the creative director in executing 2 collections per year by contributing own designs following the provided direction and leading a small team in the execution all samples.
  • Have experience in running fittings and strong understanding of the process of from initial concept through to production.
  • Must have great experience in balancing a busy T&A calendar while managing the team and its many moving parts both in design and production
  • Submit sketches for review, and execute the sketches once approved. Must show a strong understanding of the female form for and how to create garments that represent our brand ethos.
  • Be well versed in current market trends and able to forecast upcoming trends while maintaining a high level of relevancy and exceptional quality of product/design
