The Product Manager for Advanced Biological Patent Search (SequenceBase), is the “CEO” in charge of developing and growing SequenceBase, an essential web-based technology platform which supports those working in biologics to search for sequence information in global patents. This Product Manager will also be responsible for discovering, developing and growing Clarivate’s overall solution set in biological patent searching.

The Product Manager will be part of the larger Patent Intelligence, Search, and Analytics product team, collectively growing Clarivate’s solutions to support corporations, law firms, and government patent and trademark agencies in developing, protecting, and investing in their intellectual property.

  • In collaboration with the FBIN COE’s and functions, Create Product Strategies that align to and enable the BU’s strategic plan, utilizing both an 8020 and total product lifecycle management mindset. Articulate the strategy on what we should sell and innovate more or less of, and how we will position our products in the different channels to market.
  • Develop and execute annual product plans to meet growth, market share and profitability goals. Manage trade-offs and balance conflicting demands to execute required initiatives to prune (exit), fix (cost, quality) and grow (marketing, product/omni channel strategy, new product introductions) the product lines profitably.
  • Determine product line pricing architectures and lead annual pricing strategy to maximize our profitable share across channels. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing for the Contiki brand will be part of the North American Marketing department and report directly to the SVP of Marketing and Communications. This person is responsible for developing marketing strategies, and plans and executing marketing efforts, while communicating the marketing plans to those involved, to build awareness and positioning the brand across North America with an end goal of driving conversions to meet business objectives.

This role is responsible for driving demand with targeted and qualified audiences for ultimate conversions and engagement. This person is instrumental in leading the cross-channel and regional marketing efforts and has a successful track record of planning, delivering, and monitoring campaigns and projects simultaneously.

This person is strategic, while also highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, can multi-task and prioritize effectively. Proficient and creative copywriting and creative design direction are essential together with the ability to work cross-functionally, liaising with various departments at all levels, including our in-house paid media team and our global creative and content team. This person will have a direct report, the Marketing Coordinator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Alongside SVP of Marketing and Comms, develop the Contiki brand and product propositions, including integrated messaging strategies. Work with both global and regional teams to ensure integration throughout all activities.
  • Responsible for initiating and executing promotional plans, setting calendar of promotional events, and conducts post promotion analysis with the Marketing Coordinator.

  • Manage paid media efforts directly with the Digital Performance Marketing team. Provide strategic direction on content and all channel marketing in relation to conversions and engagement.

  • Lead Contiki’s marketing efforts to retain existing passengers and grow revenue by producing sales and lead generation materials and tools alongside global teammates.
  • Work with global and regional marketing team members to implement best practices for all email communications creating a cohesive customer experience through the email nurture program and various past passenger communications/materials.
  • Work closely with the Partner Marketing team to ensure efficient use of resources, implementation of plans, and communication to our travel partners.
  • Provide tactical messaging and product offers and oversee all promo executions for the North American market.
  • Work cross-functionally with senior management to create internal and external messages and value propositions. Produce internal communications to ensure employees’ cross-departments are well-informed of marketing or brand activity. Facilitate internal communications to ensure consistency and timeliness of message.
  • Identify and monitor tourism board partnerships and activity with the Partnerships team.
  • Work closely with Partner Marketing and Sales teams on their marketing plans for trade initiatives and marketing requests and programs such as eLearning and Advisor Portal to ensure Contiki is represented properly and Tone of Voice and USPs are reflected correctly.

  • Responsible for and manage annual marketing budget, including the processing of POs, check requests, and reconciliation.
  • Provide clear strategy, direction, coaching, feedback, and mentoring to facilitate direct reports’ achievement of individual and group goals. Identify and act upon performance gaps and remedies for direct reports as needed. Perform weekly 1 on 1’s and timely performance reviews.

As our Product Development Manager, you will lead internal teams and external stakeholders in an effort to scale product development and expand our beautiful, high-quality assortment. This work will be essential as Maiden Home enters new categories of the home and rapidly grows our existing product line. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Development teams’ communication between internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners
  • Collaborate with our Director of Product Strategy to create a Product Development calendar for our seasonal assortments and new category launches; ensuring the quoting and sampling process proceeds in a timely, organized manner which allows us to efficiently launch new products throughout the year
  • Provide clear and concise technical feedback to our manufacturing partners and review product shop drawings with the intent to raise Maiden Home’s overall standards of quality and design
  • Provide regular status update on development milestones for new collections and categories to cross-functional team and leadership team
  • Partner cross-functionally with our Operations teams to proactively develop our domestic and international supply chains for both existing and new categories, allowing us to more effectively scale new product development and support long-term brand growth
  • Coordinate with our Logistics team to anticipate and eliminate transit and packaging pain points prior to market release
  • Partner closely with our Customer Care and Product Success teams to ensure post-purchase Customer experience is optimized and ever-improving as new products are released, and incorporate learnings on quality as new products, materials, and categories are launched into future new product development

Qualifications

  • 7+ Years of experience in domestic or international design management including sourcing, product development, interior design and/or architecture with furniture start-up experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in a home retail or boutique commercial furnishings manufacturing organization or design firm is required – candidates with exclusive experience in fashion or other consume goods will NOT be considered
  • Must have seen product, in a quantity of >100, move from concept to market / end-user; possess a strong knowledge of furniture design and construction through the lens of production; inclusive of upholstered seating, dining, bedroom and storage
  • Able to critically review furniture shop drawings received from manufacturing partners for construction and aesthetic accuracy without additional team oversight
  • Strong connections within the industry, including manufacturers and material resources
  • Expertise in coordinating external consultants, working on strict timelines and managing multiple complex projects (with multiple stakeholders) simultaneously, all while delivering on time
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; a creative negotiator with a proven ability to navigate an array of stakeholders and priorities
  • Passionate about furniture and design; knowledgeable about design history as well as what’s new and next
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of data management or PLM systems such as Fohlio, Spexx and Specsources considered a notable asset
  • Experience managing internal teams of 3+; providing tasks, executing 1<>1 check-ins
  • Keen interest in creating processes and driving decisions using data-driven analyses as a foundation; advanced proficiency in Excel and fluency in metrics management a must
  • Strong attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude and the ability to consistently take initiative, demonstrating relentless follow-through in a startup environment

My client is looking for a Lead Category Manager who has significant experience of managing internal stakeholders and international suppliers in Latin America, Europe and North America.

Hybrid, however very flexible in how often required on site after a period of being embedded. First 6 month will be in New Iberia at least 3 days on site every week. Candidates could also be based in Houston but have to travel to Louisiana in the first 6 months. In the longer term the role will allow for more WFH.

The best fit candidate will come from a heavy industrial background and well accustomed in dealing with technical staff and engineers. Your sourcing experience will mostly be CAPEX & MRO.

As lead category manager you will be owning specific strategies & some of the most important supplier relationships. This exciting role will assist in the development and implementation of global category strategies and will require working collaboratively with colleagues based in all regions of the world, from Asia to Latin America.

What you’ll do:

· Provide support to the Internal Combustion Engines global category. A significant amount of category spend is made by the North American business and is a key territory for growth in the coming years.

· Supporting the Head of Category in developing category strategy and planning activity, taking ownership of several key elements of the category’s objectives.

· Providing analysis, category and supply market expertise and knowledge to develop category strategies and performance /relationship management.

· Analyzing and interpreting of spend data to inform category planning and sourcing strategy development.- MUST be able to develop and implement plans

· Implementing and managing supplier performance management processes with strategic suppliers.

· Leading specific strategic savings projects across the different sub-categories to contribute to cost reduction targets.

· Responsible for managing and administering relevant category contracts and ensuring they are maintained in the contract repository.

· Work in partnership with the Product Development teams to act as the Procurement contact, determining the most appropriate suppliers, building business cases, and supporting New Product Introductions.

· Work closely with the Quality team to assess new and existing vendors.

· Develop your network in regions from Asia to the Americas, driving appropriate behaviours through the business, understanding the business need & ensuring adherence to category strategies.
